3 goal draws members

3 goal draws

Emphasize getting a shot off quickly by limiting the amount of time they have to score. This is a great drill the works on the draw and the girls really seem to enjoy.

Middie Draw Game members

Middie Draw Game

This drill focuses on creating synergy within the draw team, where three players collaborate to win the draw and then leverage a man-up advantage to score, with the opposing team holding one player back to create a 3v2 situation. Key coaching points include fostering effective communication and spatial awareness to secure possession from the draw, and quick strategic execution to transition into a scoring opportunity, emphasizing the cycle of draw, possession, and shot or save.

2 v 2 Circle ground ball drill members

2 v 2 Circle ground ball drill

In this drill, players split into two teams and compete to control ground balls tossed by the coach into a circle, aiming to complete two consecutive passes before exiting near their team's line to score a point. Emphasis is on strong communication for both teams: attackers coordinate to facilitate quick, effective passes, while defenders focus on rapid marking and strategic doubling to prevent easy exits and scoring.

Fast Full Step Build Up Drill for Goalies members

Fast Full Step Build Up Drill for Goalies

This drill progressively builds a goalie's technique and strength, starting with controlled full steps without a stick and advancing through exercises with resistance bands to enhance quick, powerful movements toward the ball. Key focuses include maintaining a sharp eye on the ball, utilizing resistance for strength training, and perfecting footspeed and landing posture to face the shooter effectively.

Side to Side Passing Shot Goalie Drill members

Side to Side Passing Shot Goalie Drill

This drill has two attackers swiftly passing the ball in front of the goal, challenging the goalie to track its movement side to side. The unpredictable moment when one attacker shoots hones the goalie's quick, explosive cross-cage movements and positional awareness, emphasizing minimal steps, speed, and constant readiness with stick up.

Cut Feed Score members

Cut Feed Score

This is a great team drill to work on feeding the ball for the quick stick goal. For the defense it is a great drill to work on communication and keeping your head on a swivel.

2 Balls 4 Players Stick Drill members

2 Balls 4 Players Stick Drill

I really like this drill as it is an alternative to the old school line drills as the kids get many more touches. A great stick work drill to start every practice or warm up before games where players get into small groups of 4 and get a lot of touches.
