The 4 Low Clear is a men’s lacrosse clearing setup that uses four players positioned low in the defensive end before the ball is advanced upfield.

The structure gives the ball carrier nearby passing options while allowing the clearing unit to move the ball through the field and advance into the midfield.

The clear begins with the clearing players organized in the defensive end.

Four players remain low, creating a group of nearby outlets around the ball and defensive area. Other players are positioned farther upfield to provide options as the clear progresses.
