The goal for the defense is to practice how to slide and recover efficiently.The offense should be learning how to draw a slide and move the ball quickly, looking for a shot.

4v4 with two players up top, one player in the crease, and one player behind, thus the “Y” shape.

You could also run this with two behind, one in the crease, and one up top, and start the ball up top.

The ball starts with the player isolated up top or at the bottom.
