This was a great video I found on the YouTube Page of GLE Lacrosse. All to often we talk about wall ball but their are not many videos that talk about doing wall ball with a long stick. Playing lacrosse wall ball with a long pole can be a great way to improve your stick skills, hand-eye coordination, and overall proficiency with the long pole. Here are some tips to get the most out of your wall ball practice:
Start Slowly: If you're new to using a long pole for wall ball, start slowly and focus on getting comfortable with the longer reach and different handling compared to a short stick.
Use Proper Technique: Focus on using proper technique for passing and catching. Keep your hands apart on the stick, use your wrists to generate power, and aim for accuracy in your passes and catches.
Mix Up Your Routine: Incorporate different types of passes and catches into your wall ball routine, including overhand, sidearm, and underhand passes, as well as quicksticks and one-handed catches. This will help you develop versatility and adaptability in game situations.
