Objective:The Triangle Passing Drill is a great warm-up exercise for improving stickwork and passing accuracy. It’s suitable for lacrosse players of all ages as it helps enhance coordination and speed in passing while working on movement and communication.
Exercise Description:The drill is performed by forming a triangle with three players. Each player positions themselves at a vertex of the triangle, maintaining a comfortable yet challenging distance from each other. The goal is to pass the ball continuously between the three players while staying in motion and focusing on the precision of the passes.
Starting Position: Three players form an equidistant triangle.
Pass and Move: One player passes the ball to the player directly in front of them, then runs to take the position of the player who just received the pass, maintaining proper spacing.
