Three-man passing drills in a short space are an essential practice tool in lacrosse, designed to sharpen players’ fundamental skills in a high-intensity, confined setting. These drills focus on improving ball control, passing accuracy, and quick stick work, all while keeping players actively engaged with minimal downtime. By simulating the tight spaces and rapid decision-making required in actual game situations, these drills help players develop the precision and agility needed to excel on the field.

Around: Player 1 picks up the ball from the ground and moves to the cone, turning around it. They pass the ball to Player 2, who returns it to Player 1. Player 1 then returns to the starting point for Player 2 to repeat the cycle.

Step Back: Player 1 runs in a straight line to the cone, makes a change of direction with an inside turn, and passes the ball to the next player to repeat the cycle.

Roll Away: Player 1 moves to the cone, makes a change of direction with an outside turn, and switches hands to pass the ball to the next player to repeat the cycle.
