This drill begins with a coach initiating play by rolling out a groundball at a random location on the field. The objective differs based on which team recovers the groundball:
Offense (X): If the offensive team retrieves the ball, they must quickly organize to attack the goal in a 5v4 setup. Offensive skip passes are permitted only if they directly lead to a shot.
Defense (D): If the defensive team secures the ball, their goal is to execute a clear. Any turnovers or saves must also be cleared by the defense.
Ball Movement: Enhances the team's ability to pass and maintain possession under pressure, crucial in men’s lacrosse for controlling the game.
