Why I’m Bringing Lacrosse Coaches Together to Learn Online Business

If you’ve been around the LaxPlaybook community for a while, you know the conversations go way beyond rides, clears, stickwork sessions, and practice plans. Every couple of weeks—almost like clockwork—someone reaches out with a different kind of question:

“Joe, how do I start an online business?”
“How did you build yours?”
“Is it even possible for a coach like me?”

And every time, we hop on a call. We talk, we brainstorm, we map out ideas, and a pattern always appears:

Coaches are passionate about coaching…
but they also need to feed their families, pay the bills, and create some stability.

Most coaches aren’t chasing a Lamborghini.
Most coaches just want the freedom to coach without constantly worrying about the financial side of life.

And I get that — deeply — because I’ve lived on both sides.

A lot of people in this community don’t know this part of my story, but before LaxPlaybook took off, I built an online education company from scratch. Then I scaled it. Then I sold it. It changed my life. It gave me freedom, options, and most importantly, time.

And here’s the real reason I’m writing this:

I want other coaches to experience that same freedom.

Not because I’m selling something.
Not because I’m launching an “entrepreneurship course.”
Not because there’s an upsell coming.

There isn’t.

This isn’t part of any business I run.
This isn’t a funnel.
This isn’t a lead magnet.

This is simply about helping the coaches in our community who deserve more than scraping by while pouring their energy into the sport they love.

Lacrosse coaches are builders by nature.
We create seasons from scratch.
We design drills out of thin air.
We build confidence in players when they don’t have it themselves.

Most of you already have the mindset required to be successful online — you just haven’t connected the dots yet.

And here’s something else most people don’t realize:

We have coaches in this very community who are already succeeding online.
Selling training.
Creating digital products.
Running events.
Coaching parents and players.
Building businesses they never imagined they were capable of.

Coaches helping coaches.
That’s the part I love most.

So here’s what I want to do, and I’m saying this publicly so I stay accountable:

I’m going to bring everyone together — coaches who want to learn, coaches who have built something, and coaches who have no idea where to start — and we’re going to talk.

Maybe it’s a webinar.
Maybe it’s a mastermind.
Maybe it’s a roundtable.
Maybe it becomes something bigger.
I don’t know yet, and that’s the fun part.

All I know is this:

  • It will be free.

  • It will be real.

  • It will be practical.

  • And it will come from a place of wanting every single coach in this community to thrive.

Because if we can help coaches make money without leaving coaching, the entire sport gets stronger.
Players get better leadership.
Parents feel more supported.
Communities grow.
And coaches finally get to enjoy the work they feel called to do.

If you’re a coach who’s ever thought about starting something online — a training program, a clinic series, a digital product, anything — stay tuned.

I’m putting this together because coaching lacrosse is one of the greatest gifts in the world. And I want you to be able to do it without sacrificing your financial stability or your peace of mind.

This is about building a community where coaches help coaches win on the field and in life.

More details coming soon — and if you want to be part of it, you’re already invited.
