Kick Back Behind GLE to a off ball Pick on the Crease

These very simple 2 or 3 man plays are easy to teach, they do not need the full coordination of the entire team and they work.  This can work as an inbound play, a subtle call between the dodger and the men in the crease or if done enough can be a natural part of the offense.  This is a great play for beginners as it is a very simple 3 man play.

  • Ball starts with #6 at X as he dodges to one side

  • #3 comes to set the pick bringing his defensemen with him.

  • #6 will give the impression that he will run towards with authority the pick forcing the defense to coordinate accordingly.

  • Before he gets there he make the pass to #4 who is coming behind the goal from the crease.
    - As #4 catches the ball #6 will go through the pick that was set by #3 and be open for a quick stick goal receiving a pass from #4

  • Against more advanced teams #1’s defender would sluff into stop this, in that case #4 would just send it up to #1 who would be in a great position to dodge, shoot or distribute.
