Zone Breaking Wing Seal and Rotate Through

This is a really great way to open up a shot on the wing. The concept is to seal the low defender so that the wing player can step into the soft part of the zone.

  • start out of a 3-3

  • get the ball around to the top right

  • the crease man will seal the defender on the wing

  • The player on the wing will come around the pick for a shot

  • if that is not there then the midfielder on the top corner will cut through to the crease that was just vacated.  This will likely be open to cover the 2 players that are now on the bottom corner.

  • Depending on how the defense rotates the player who just sealed the defender by setting the pick can now roll out with his stick up using basic box lacrosse pick and roll technique.
