Dual Triangle Dodge out of a 2-2-2 set

This can be used as a play or an offensive philosophy for your team using the premise of motion. The basic principle is that the two triangles function together in order to create space for the dodger and complicate the slides making it more difficult for the defense to help. This can be done out of many formations but in this article I am use the 2-2-2 set with 2 men up top, 2 in the crease and 2 behind.

- #1 wants to doge he has two options, to go down the alley or sweep across the top.

- The best option is if he can bring his defender towards the middle and then cut back down the alley.

- The two triangles should motion upon the dodge, the triangles moving will create space and create multiple options in this basic dodge.

If #1 decides to make his move by sweeping across the top.
- The bottom triangle will still rotate the same way because of where the dodger started from.

- When #1 dodges he has 2 main outlets

- #6 is a great outlet for a shot as he is fading up as his man is probably the first slide.
- Fading up will make it difficult for a second slide.  This is done by maintaining the triangle.

- #4 is cutting across clearing out.  He will be open if the adjacent man slides.

- His man will slide because he is being brought in front of the crease in the path of the dodger.  Therefore he will naturally be open for the backdoor cut.

- If #6 gets the ball, he will send it to one of two places.

- #2 up top will be open for a shot because the room would have been cleared out by the original dodge.

- #3 has a great dodge from the opposite side because the defense is completely sloughed over to one side at this point.  If # 3 does not like his dodge he just send it to #5 immediately.

KEEP THE BALL MOVING.  Once the Defense is moving you and you have them moving do not stop the ball unless the play is dead.  THE OFFENSE SCORES WHEN THE DEFENSE MOVES.

This concept can be applied to any corner.
